About Phil Wilson
Phil Wilson was born in Birmingham in 1972 and now lives in Harrogate. He spent his childhood in Birmingham before moving to South Wales and was always encouraged by his musical parents to explore his creativity through music and art
He completed a university degree in Illustration in 1996 and a teaching degree in 1997. Phil has sold work all over the UK and his Yorkshire inspired work has featured in Yorkshire Life Magazine. Two of his New York paintings have been published. Phil enjoys experimenting with a variety of styles and themes gaining inspiration from his love of the Yorkshire coast as well from his travels around the world. His love of colour and textures always feature strongly in his work. He uses a range of media, often combining acrylic, collage and photography.
